CSC China Link Scholarship
Program Scheme
① Funding Categories
General scholar: applicable to current undergraduates or graduates.
Senior scholar: applicable to current Ph. D candidates or faculties
② Duration
1-12 months
Start study in China no later than August 31, 2026.
③ Working Language
English or Chinese, depending on the program candidates apply for.

Funding
Successful applicants will receive a full scholarship from CSC during their stay in China, including tuition waiver, free on-campus accommodation, comprehensive medical insurance and monthly stipend (CNY 3,000 for general scholars; CNY 3,500 for senior scholars).
Eligibility
① Be a citizen of a country other than the People's Republic of China and be in good health both mentally and physically.
② Be under 45 applying for general scholars; Be under 50 applying for senior scholars.
③ Register as full-time student or employed as full-time
academic staff at CSC's foreign partner university by the time of application
and throughout the proposed stay in China. Foreign university list please refer to 国外院校列表 Foreign University List.pdf.
④ Have obtained admission qualification from SUFE for the next intake
Application Process
Step 1: Apply for a General Scholar / Senior Scholar Program at SUFE.
Visit the Study at SUFE website for the list of international student programs and for information, confirm the specific entry requirements. Remit the application fee (CNY415) and submit the program application through SUFE Applicant Portal.
Applicants whose institution is a partner university of SUFE, or who have contacted and obtained a recommendation from one of our academic institutions, should indicate this in the "Study Plan" section when submitting your application materials.
*Remit the non-refundable application fee (CNY415). Only bank transfer is accepted.

Step 2: Apply to the CSC for the scholarship
SUFE will review the application materials and, if necessary, arrange a video or phone interview. Upon approval, applicants will receive a pre-admission notice issued by SUFE. You will need to apply separately to the CSC for the scholarship and follow the CSC application process. CSC applications must be submitted online on the CSC website (https://studyinchina.csc.edu.cn/#/login).

Step 3: CSC notifies scholarship admission result to SUFE.
Step 4: SUFE notifies scholarship admission results to applicants.

Application Document
(1) ID photo: Please submit a color photo taken within the last 6 months, with your head facing straight forward and a clear, unobstructed view of your face. The background must be solid white or blue. Head coverings are prohibited.
(2) Passport Homepage: Applicant shall submit a clear scanned copy of his/her ordinary passport within validity.
(3) Certificate of Highest Education: If not applicable, please upload a school letter or employment letter issued by your current foreign university.
(4) Transcripts of Highest Education: If not applicable, please upload a school letter or employment letter issued by the current university.
(5) Study Plan: Personal Statement or Research Proposal in Chinese or English, at least 500 words.
(6) Physical Examination Record for Foreigner:Applicants planning to stay in China for more than 6 months must submit a photocopy of the Foreigner Physical Examination Form completed in English or Chinese. Applicants staying in China less than 6 months could upload a personal health statement instead.
(7) Non-criminal records report: Applicants planning to stay in China for more than 6 months must submit a photocopy of the non-criminal records report issued by the public authority at current residency. Applicants staying in China less than 6 months could upload a non-criminal records statement instead.
