The Spring Special Session of the "10,000 Industries Recruitment Fair" and the 2025 Graduate Recruitment Fair for the Yangtze River Delta region were held at SUFE

On April 13, the Spring Special Session of the "10,000 Industries Recruitment Fair" and the 2025 Graduate Recruitment Fair for the Yangtze River Delta region, co-hosted by the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, and the People's Government of Shanghai Municipality, was held at Shanghai University of Finance and Economics.

Xu Tao, the Party Secretary of Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, Huang Junmei, Deputy Inspector of the Employment Promotion Department of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, and Xiao Qi, Deputy Director of the Department of Higher Education Students (Graduate Employment Service Department) of the Ministry of Education, delivered speeches at the opening ceremony. Relevant leaders from the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, and the People's Government of Shanghai Municipality, as well as representatives from the education departments of Shanghai, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Anhui, and representatives of universities and employers in the Yangtze River Delta region, attended the ceremony. 

The ceremony was presided over by Wang Hao, Deputy Director of the Shanghai Municipal Education Commission.

During the event, the Graduate Employment Guidance Centers of universities from Shanghai, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Anhui officially signed the "Strategic Cooperation Memorandum of the Yangtze River Delta Graduate Employment Alliance." Guided by the principles of strategic resonance, system coexistence, digital empowerment, and value co-creation, the alliance is based on a cross-regional coordinated development strategy. It aims to enhance the efficiency of graduate employment services by integrating employment market resources from each province and building a "resource pool" and "collaboration network" for employment services. Through inter-provincial cooperation and complementary advantages, the alliance seeks to break down employment information barriers, optimize human resource allocation, and promote the deep integration of high-quality graduate employment and coordinated regional economic development.

Several universities in the Yangtze River Delta region reached cooperation intentions with key industrial private enterprises, and on-site university-enterprise cooperation agreements were signed. The cooperation focuses on key industrial fields in the Yangtze River Delta, such as new energy, digital finance, artificial intelligence, biomedicine, and integrated circuits, to achieve precise alignment between academic strengths and industrial needs.

The recruitment fair has also achieved an iterative upgrade, innovatively constructing a three-dimensional navigation employment service model of "industry-precision alignment + in-depth local cooperation + integrated service empowerment." To achieve targeted matching of professional talents with industry demands, employers and job information are listed in the form of industry zones and regional groups. More than 21,000 positions can be queried with a single click before the event, further improving the familiarity of enterprises with recruitment positions, the precision of student guidance services, and the accuracy of job supply and demand matching.

The recruitment site gathers thousands of companies from ten major industry recruitment zones, including integrated circuits, finance, artificial intelligence, biomedicine, high-end equipment manufacturing, education, culture, media, energy, chemical engineering, and environmental protection. It also sets up recruitment zones for seven regional groups, including Hongkou, Yangpu, Huangpu, and Baoshan, to strengthen the regional talent aggregation effect.
The recruitment site specially sets up an "Employment Refueling Station" comprehensive service area, which constructs four empowerment modules with cutting-edge design: The policy consultation section gathers talent specialists from the Shanghai Student Affairs Center, the Federation of Trade Unions, and five districts including Putuo and Yangpu, providing "on-site consultation" on policies such as talent settlement and employment internships; The career consultation section is equipped with a service menu of six categories, including resume, interview, comprehensive, overseas study, civil service, and military recruitment; The employment service area empowers smart employment with AI, while also providing career image consultants and rental guidance; The support service area sets up volunteer service stations, medical stations, resume printing stations, and other convenient facilities.

As the organizer of this special recruitment fair, Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, based on its academic strengths, fully leverages its financial discipline advantages and the locational potential of the Yangtze River Delta. It focuses on precise alignment, regional linkage, and ecological co-construction to create an innovative linkage model of talent services in the Yangtze River Delta. In the future, the university will continue to deepen the symbiotic development path of "discipline - industry - city," cultivate new-era financial talents with both international competitiveness and local practical ability, and provide intellectual support and talent guarantee for the coordinated development of the world-class city cluster in the Yangtze River Delta and the modernization of China.

It is reported that the "10,000 Schools and 10,000 Enterprises Supply and Demand Docking Fair" is an important part of the Ministry of Education's "Spring Employment Promotion Campaign" for the 2025 college graduates. It aims to implement the decisions and plans of the Party Central Committee and the State Council on doing a good job in college graduate employment, seize the key period of spring recruitment, jointly build a number of regional employment markets with local governments, focus on the needs of local economic and industrial development, fully explore employment positions, and promote precise matching of talent supply and demand, providing strong talent support for promoting high-quality local economic development.
