On April 13, our university participated in the "2025 Shanghai High-Quality International Talent Exchange Fair and Employment Exhibition for International Students in Chinese Universities," co-hosted by Fudan University and Hanban International in Shanghai. Well-known companies such as JD.com, Alibaba, and Meituan, as well as more than 30 universities from across the country, took part in the event.
The exhibition attracted nearly 5,000 international students in China, returned Chinese language teachers, and volunteers. Our university organized nearly 70 international students to attend and also set up a study abroad consultation booth on-site to introduce various programs to students from other universities.
As the opening approached, our university's booth was crowded with people. The international students showed great interest in our university's academic strengths and distinctive programs, and the staff provided detailed introductions and answered questions on the spot.
The international students from our university who attended the exhibition also actively joined the publicity team. They fully utilized the role of the second classroom, assisted in distributing school badges, introduced the university's advantages from the perspective of current students, and encouraged their peers to actively apply.
According to statistics, our university's booth received approximately 700 international students throughout the day. Through this face-to-face in-depth communication, not only was the distance between teachers and students shortened, but our university will also continue to optimize study abroad programs and improve relevant processes based on student feedback, to ensure the smooth and efficient progress of international student recruitment.
