From 30 to 31 October, the 27th China Annual Conference for International Education was held at the China National Convention Center in Beijing. Hosted by the China Education Association for International Exchange under the theme “Fostering New Growth through Openness, Sustaining Cooperation for the Long Run”, the conference and its concurrent education fair brought together more than 1,000 universities and institutions from over 70 countries and regions, a scale unmatched in recent years.
Rong Jun, Vice Dean of the College, and Zhou Xiaotian of the Admissions Section attended the conference on behalf of the College. They took part in a number of parallel forums and exchange activities, holding in-depth discussions with representatives of universities from various countries on cooperation in international student education in China and international Chinese language education, and reaching preliminary cooperation intentions with several institutions. The College also participated in the concurrent 2026 China International Education Fair, where it highlighted the College’s signature programmes for international students in China and the implementation of the University’s “Digital and Intelligent New Finance” strategy. The booth drew many representatives of Chinese and foreign institutions as well as students and parents for consultation and exchange; enquiries were brisk on site, and visitors showed keen interest in the University’s programmes.
The participation in the conference and the fair further raised the international visibility of the University’s education of international students in China, and accumulated new resources for expanding its global cooperation network and deepening the opening-up of education.
