01
National-Level Pre-college Education Base
SUFE has been a China Scholarship Council (CSC)-approved Business and Economics Pre-college Education Base for Chinese Government Scholarship students since 2019. Almost 100% of the trainees have passed the Chinese Government Scholarship pre-college graduation exams.
02
Efficient & Intensive Training in Chinese and Math
The program lasts 16 weeks per semester, with 30–34 class hours per week (each class hour is 45 minutes), covering Chinese and mathematics courses. Through intensive learning, students can quickly improve their Chinese and mathematical skills and meet the entry requirements for most Chinese universities' undergraduate programs in business, economics, or humanities subject areas.
03
Application Fee & Admission Interview Waiver
Pre-college participants can be waived of the application fee and admission interview for SUFE's undergraduate programs if they have obtained the HSK 5 certificate and CSCA results, completed the pre-college courses, and met the University's relevant regulations. A separate undergraduate application is needed; attending an interview is required if applying for a scholarship.
04
Priority in Scholarship Candidate Selection
Participants with HSK 4 and academic performance meeting the undergraduate admission criteria may be given priority consideration for the Shanghai International Pre-college Program (one-year Chinese language training at Shanghai Normal University, with full-coverage scholarship available). Those with HSK 5 and academic performance meeting the admission criteria may be given priority for the Shanghai Government Scholarship and SUFE Scholarship. A separate application for SUFE's undergraduate admission is required.
05
Well-Connected Campus Close to All Amenities
SUFE is located in Yangpu District, the northeast corner of Shanghai. The Shanghai University of Finance and Economics Station of Metro Line 18 is on campus, and Jiangwan Town Station of Metro Line 3 is a 5-minute walk away. The campus is well connected by metro and bus lines, so you can easily reach the nearby shopping center, the Bund and People's Square.
